The Leap Partner Program Explained: One Call, Up to $10,000
A plain explanation of the Leap Partner Program. What you earn per verified hour, how the $10,000 cap and the first three months work, what your job is versus ours, who qualifies, and exactly how and when the money reaches your account.
The Leap Partner Program pays you cashback for one introduction. No selling, no follow-up.
- You earn per GPS-verified hour your referred client uses Leap workers
- Three tiers: $1/hr General Labour, $3/hr Skilled Labourers, $5/hr Skilled Workers
- Capped at $10,000 per client, earned across that client's first three months with Leap
- No limit on how many clients you refer. The cap is per client, not per partner
- Paid monthly. Statement in the first week, transfer within 3 business days
- No invoice, no ABN, no lock-in. It is a referral fee, not employment
- Register at the partner page and you get your own link
Somewhere in your phone is a contact worth thousands of dollars, and you have probably never thought of it that way.
Not a lead. Not a prospect. A builder, a foreman, a site manager you already know, who at some point this year will be short of workers and will ask someone they trust who to call.
The Leap Partner Program pays you for being that someone. This guide explains the whole thing without the sales gloss: the actual maths, what you have to do, what Leap does, who it suits, who it does not, and when the money lands. ๐ฐ

What Is the Leap Partner Program?
It is a referral program with a cashback structure. Strip it back and there are only three moving parts.
- You introduce someone who needs site or warehouse workers to Leap, by sharing your unique partner link or by having them mention your name
- They become a Leap client and start booking crews
- You earn cashback on every GPS-verified hour those workers put in, paid to you monthly, up to $10,000 per client
There is no investment, no lock-in and no minimum activity. Registration is free and takes about two minutes on the partner page. Leap sends your unique link by WhatsApp after you register.
The important structural detail, because it changes how you should think about the whole thing: the cap is per client, not per partner. Ten thousand dollars is the ceiling on one referral, not on you.
Why Does a Referral Program Exist in Labour Hire at All?
Because of how this industry actually buys.
Nobody Googles "labour hire Sydney" and calls the first result. When a builder is three workers short for a Monday pour, they do not open a browser and start comparing websites. They ask whoever they trust most. Their accountant. Their recruiter. The safety consultant who was on site last Thursday. The foreman from the job before this one.
That is not a quirk. It is the whole distribution model of the industry. Labour hire runs on trust and word of mouth, because the cost of getting it wrong is a stalled site, and nobody experiments with an unknown supplier when the crane is booked.
Which leaves an obvious gap. The trust already exists inside your network, and it was built by you. Leap did not build it and cannot buy it. The program is simply Leap paying for access to it, once, when it genuinely helps the person on the other end.
That last clause matters. This only works if the introduction is a real favour, made to someone who actually needs workers. A referral that leaves your contact worse off costs you far more than the cashback is worth, which is exactly why the reputation section below is in this guide at all.
What Do You Actually Earn? The Honest Maths
Here is the offer in full, with nothing hidden behind an asterisk.
The three tiers
Cashback is paid per GPS-verified hour your referred client uses Leap workers, at one of three rates:
| Worker type | Examples | Your cashback |
|---|---|---|
| General Labour | Labourers, offsiders, cleaners, warehouse | $1.00 per hour |
| Skilled Labourer | Skilled labourers, trade assistants | $3.00 per hour |
| Skilled Workers | Crane ops, forklift, trades, plant operators | $5.00 per hour |
If you are unsure which side of that line a worker sits on, the difference is unpacked in skilled versus general labourer.
The cap and the window
Two limits, and they are the honest part of the offer:
- $10,000 maximum per client
- Earned across that client's first three months with Leap, whichever comes first
A worked example
The statement Leap sends is deliberately boring. Here is a real-shaped month:
160 verified hours at $3.00 per hour is $480 for that month. That is one crew of workers on a site for roughly a month, and it required nothing from you after the first conversation.
Run that forward and the shape becomes clear. $480 in month one. $960 by month two if the client scales up. Busier clients on the Skilled Workers tier hit the $10,000 cap well inside the three month window.
The cashback builds quietly in the background while you do nothing except answer your phone once a month. What the numbers are not
Two clarifications, stated plainly:
- These are estimates, not a guaranteed income. Cashback is calculated on GPS-verified hours from Leap timesheets. No hours worked, no cashback
- Nothing here is a Leap charge-out rate. The $1, $3 and $5 figures are what Leap pays you, and they say nothing about what a client pays for a crew. Client pricing is quoted per classification and lives on the rates page
How Does It Work, Step by Step?
Three steps. That is not marketing shorthand, it is genuinely the whole process.
Register first, then introduce. Registering before you make the call is what generates the link, and the link is the cleanest way to make sure the credit lands on your name. Registration is at the partner page and takes three short screens: your details, your background, and whether you already have someone in mind.
What Is Your Job, and What Is Leap's Job?
This is the section that decides whether the program is worth your time, so here is the split with nothing softened.
Your job: three things
- Know someone who needs workers
- Mention Leap
- That is it
Three things. About five minutes. No pitching, no cold calls, no follow-up, no chasing an invoice, no managing anybody.
Leap's job: everything else
Eleven jobs on that list. Not one of them is yours. If you want to see the machinery behind it, how labour hire actually works walks through the same process from the client side.
The honest summary of the workload:
- One conversation, once, per client
- No selling, no follow-up, no admin
- You answer your phone once a month for your statement
- You can stop at any time and keep everything you have earned
Who Qualifies as a Leap Partner in 2026?
The bar is low on purpose. If you know who needs workers, you qualify. The registration form asks which of these you are, because it changes how Leap onboards you, not whether you are accepted.
- ๐๏ธ Builders and foremen. You would recommend a good supplier anyway. You may as well be paid for it
- ๐ค Recruiters. Clients that do not fit your desk still fit someone's. You keep the relationship and monetise the mismatch
- ๐ Accountants and bookkeepers. Your construction clients need labour constantly, and you are already the person they ask about everything else
- ๐ฆบ Safety consultants. Every site you visit is a potential client, and you already have the ear of the boss
- ๐ฅ HR managers. Companies needing seasonal or surge workers get a genuine favour from your introduction
- ๐ก Anyone, really. Know a builder, foreman or site manager short of workers? That is the entire qualification
Who Is This Not For?
Worth being straight about, because a bad fit wastes your time and Leap's.
If you are after work rather than referrals, you are on the wrong page entirely. Leap hires labourers, trade assistants, forklift operators and traffic controllers directly, and that starts at find work, not here.
If you have no connection to the industry, the maths does not work for you. The program pays for trust you already hold. Cold outreach to strangers is not what this is, and it will not earn you anything.
And if you need guaranteed income, this is not it. Cashback follows verified hours. If your referred client never books a crew, nothing accrues. That is the trade for there being no cost, no lock-in and no obligation on your side.
When and How Do You Get Paid?
The payment mechanics, in order.
- Month ends. Leap tallies the GPS-verified hours your referred client used
- First week of the following month. Your cashback statement arrives, showing hours worked, your rate and your total
- Within 3 business days. The bank transfer lands in your account
- No invoice required. Leap handles the accounting on both ends
- No ABN required. This is a referral fee, not employment
Credit lands one of two ways. Either the client arrives through your unique partner link, or they name you when they first get in touch. Both work. The link is simply harder to argue with later.
The GPS verification is not a formality either. Every hour that generates your cashback is the same hour on the client's invoice, tied to a verified timesheet with site photos and digital signatures. The system behind it is described in automated timesheets and GPS invoice matching.
Is Your Reputation Safe Sending Someone to Leap?
The real question behind every referral. You are lending someone your name, and if the crew does not turn up, it is you they ring, not Leap.
So here is what backs the introduction:
- GPS-verified timesheets on every invoice. Exact hours, site photos, digital signatures. No invoice disputes and no awkward conversations
- Fair Work compliant, always. Workers comp, super, payroll tax and public liability sit inside the arrangement, so your client carries no compliance risk from the engagement
- $10M public liability plus workers comp. Every Leap worker is insured before they step on site
- Same-day deployment is the standard. Order by early arvo, crew on site the next morning. More on that in same-day labour hire in Sydney
- No lock-in contracts for your client. No minimums, no exit fees, nothing to lose by trying it
At the time of writing, Leap runs crews across 120+ active client sites, with a 97% show-up rate and $0 in disputed invoices. Those are the numbers that decide whether your name comes out of this looking good.
Your reputation is backed by ours. That is the only real risk in a referral, and it is the one Leap has to carry. If your contact wants to understand the arrangement before committing, point them at what labour hire actually is. If they want to check Leap is properly licensed before engaging anyone, that is a two minute public register search, explained in NSW labour hire licensing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Leap Partner Program?+
It is a referral program. You introduce someone who needs site or warehouse workers to Leap, and you earn cashback on every GPS-verified hour that client uses Leap workers. The rate is $1, $3 or $5 per hour depending on the worker type, capped at $10,000 per client across that client's first three months with Leap. There is no cost to join and no obligation once you have registered.
How is the cashback calculated exactly?+
Per GPS-verified hour on Leap timesheets. General Labour, meaning labourers, offsiders, cleaners and warehouse staff, earns you $1.00 per hour. Skilled Labourers and trade assistants earn you $3.00 per hour. Skilled Workers such as crane operators, forklift operators, trades and plant operators earn you $5.00 per hour. At the end of each month Leap tallies the verified hours your referred client used and transfers your cashback, up to the $10,000 per client cap.
When do I get paid, and do I need to invoice Leap?+
Your cashback statement is sent in the first week of the following month, and the bank transfer lands within 3 business days. You do not invoice Leap and you do not chase anything. The statement gives you a simple breakdown: hours worked by your client, your rate, and your total for the month.
Is there a limit on how many clients I can refer?+
No limit at all. The $10,000 cap is per client, not per partner. Refer five clients who run Skilled Workers and you are looking at up to $50,000. There is no ceiling on the number of introductions you make.
Do I need an ABN, and is this a job?+
No ABN is needed and it is not employment. Cashback is paid as a referral fee when a client you introduced works with Leap. Leap sorts the paperwork on its end. You are not on a payroll, you have no targets, and you can stop participating at any time while keeping everything already earned.
My contact already knows of Leap. Do I still get credit?+
Yes, provided they have not worked with Leap before. If they are a new client to Leap and they arrived through your unique partner link, or named you when they first got in touch, you get full credit for the relationship. Knowing the name is not the same as having been a client.
How much work is involved after I make the introduction?+
None. Leap finds and vets the workers, signs the client, deploys the crew, GPS-verifies every timesheet, pays the workers weekly, carries workers comp and public liability, keeps the engagement Fair Work compliant, invoices the client and fixes any problems on site. Your part is the introduction and then answering your phone once a month for your statement.
Who should not join the Leap Partner Program?+
Anyone looking for a job rather than a referral arrangement should head to the Leap find work page instead, since Leap hires labourers, trade assistants and operators directly. The program also does not suit people with no connection to the construction or warehouse industry, because it pays for trust you already hold rather than for cold outreach. And it does not suit anyone wanting guaranteed income, because cashback only accrues on verified hours a referred client actually books.
